Geography Matters!

Thank you very much for your donation. The pull-down map has arrived recently and I have immediately started using it. It has already made a world of difference in my teaching of history and geography. We have recently started studying the world wars and using the map was a great tool to visually show students were the action was happening and they all commented on how fun those classes have been. I have also started giving them map quizzes since I use the map so much and I have seen an extra-ordinary increase in their understanding of fundamental geography. In an education world run by data, it was impressive to me that most students were able to accurately place 10 countries involved in world war 2 on a map. I feel that this tool has helped me make them better geographers than many college students years older than them.”
