Most of these students I am teaching come from low income families. They enter the school building eating Doritos and drinking Mountain Dew. We are a Charter School in Milwaukee and we teach the students Math, English, Social Studies and Science. They have no health class or Physical Education Class. I want to teach them how to have a healthier lifestyle. I will do this by teaching after school three days a week. Eating healthy and exercising. We have no equipment at the school. That is where the dumb bells would be so helpful to use for the students. The program that I teach is Body Shred and it uses dumb bells to help enhance exercise. I will also be talking about nutrition. Right now the dumb bells would be the key.
