The materials I chose will make an impact in my kindergarten classroom because it will increase student engagement greatly. This year my goal is to inspire students with active learning. These materials will help to create authentic learning experiences for them in reading and math. I feel students learn best by doing. The new rug will be an highlight and also allow us to come together during circle time. The erasable pockets will work just like whiteboards! The adjustable stand for pocket charts is perfect for storage and so all students will be able to see. The stand will also be great for the students center chart.
