Supplying our students with the tools they will need during the school year will help them feel and be successful for learning activities. The supplies will also ease the financial strain of many of our 4th grade families as they often struggle to make ends meet. My partner teacher and I will use the color coded composition books to teach our students organization and good notetaking in all four subject areas that we teach. During writer's workshop, the students will utilize the loose leaf paper to create drafts during the writing process. We are always in need of scissors and are often sharing sets between classrooms.
