I would like to gather my students on this rug to participate in the reading mini-lessons I have diligently planned. I have just recently purchased the Units of Study for reading and have learned that a meeting place is essential for providing them with reading strategies that they can carry for their entire lives! This is the place where I give them opportunities to read in Spanish, in the fullest sense of the word: reading, talking, imagining, thinking, questioning, recalling, writing, reviewing, comparing, researching and reading even more. Having an area where they can collaboratively discuss their work in my Spanish class would be so beneficial!
