The rain pants and rain jackets are lined to help keep my students warm on colder days. Rain boots and waterproof mittens are frequently unavailable to many of my students. Having all four of these items available will give all of my students the ability to access learning and exploration on the nature trail without being cold, wet, or uncomfortable. By providing waterproof gear for my students, we will be able to stay outside longer on our trail days. My students will stay warm and dry, which will allow us to have more time for special outdoor learning activities and for open explorations outside.
