  • Smart Learning on the Go: Empowering Students with Interactive Technology

    Funded Feb 17, 2025

On behalf of my students, I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation toward the "Smart Learning on the Go" initiative. Your support is making a meaningful impact in empowering students with interactive technology that enhances their learning experience.

Thanks to your contribution, we can now provide our students with the tools they need to explore, create, and engage in ways that were once beyond reach. It’s truly inspiring to see the positive effect your donation has on their enthusiasm for learning.

We are excited to continue this journey, and we couldn't have done it without you. Your belief in education and in our students' potential is deeply appreciated.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Saucedo

  • Sensory Speech

    Funded Apr 3, 2024

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support towards our project to acquire sensory items for speech therapy lessons. Your contribution means more to us than words can express.

With your help, we are one step closer to creating a more inclusive and effective learning environment for our students. Your belief in our mission to enhance speech therapy sessions through sensory integration is truly inspiring.

Thanks to your generosity, we can now provide our students with the tools and resources they need to thrive. Your kindness will have a profound impact on their communication skills, confidence, and overall well-being.

Please know that your support is not just a donation; it's an investment in the future of each and every student we serve. Your generosity will touch the lives of so many, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your unwavering support. We couldn't do this without you.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Saucedo

  • Speech in Color

    Funded Aug 27, 2021

This printer has been such a resource for all of my students! They are consistently excited to join speech sessions. One of my students, John, who is on the Autism Spectrum and has been working on increasing his utterances when speaking. He has serious tantrums when things do not go his way and can demonstrate self injurious behaviors. He has been observed to throw a fit when pictures are not in color. With the implementation of this printer John (and other students) have shown less frustrated behaviors! They are engaged in participating at non-preferred activities because things are bright and fun! In addition, we constantly work towards John and almost every student to describing items using an adjective (purple octopus, green fish, etc). With the integration of the color printer, John has made leaps and bounds in regards to his expressive and receptive language skills. It has been so beautiful to watch each student come to life with the incorporation of visuals printed from the color printer. He gets so excited to analyze photos and describe them using this tool. None of this would have been possible without the implementation of the device! It means so much to me but especially my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Saucedo

This classroom project was brought to life by The Allstate Foundation and 5 other donors.
A color laser printer would allow my students with Speech and Language disabilities the ability to print hands-on checklists, visual reinforcers, graphic organizers in color to keep on their desks as a visual reminder, bring them home so our students can continue working towards their speech goals at home wit their families. We need this printer for day to day hands-on projects in preparation for in person learning. The pandemic has greatly limited the use of non-screen materials in remote and in person sessions. To accommodate CDC guidelines, we have to print individual copies for each student. Since I'm an SLP and work towards individualized goals, I will be able to print and mail copies of resources to families who may not be comfortable sending their students back to school in September. At this time, I do not have access to a color printed and I'm working on expanding utterances, but cannot present an image in color! This printer is enabled with the Instant Ink program so we will be able to keep it stocked with ink without breaking the bank!
