My students are out of school for the next month and potentially longer due to the coronavirus spreading throughout New Orleans. This poses a challenge - how do I continue to foster reading growth and a love of learning when I can't see them every day? Most of my students have little to no books or supplies at home. Few of them have Internet access to access additional learning materials during this time. When they aren't at school they don't get to read. I want to provide my students with books they are EXCITED to read during this stressful and uncertain time. I want them to continue their learning and go into second grade fully ready and excited to be back in school! Help my students become strong readers and continue to love learning!

About my class
