By having a classroom carpet, the students will have a chance to get out of their chairs and come together to learn up close and personal! A classroom carpet will also give me the opportunity to create a comfortable meeting area in my classroom for my students. Community is so critical in developing confident, capable learners. Having a classroom carpet can help with building a strong classroom community. A classroom meeting area also changes the climate from an institutional setting to a home for learning. My students will also have a cozy spot to sit during small groups and work independently.
