The Capri Series Bb trumpet that I am requesting for my students will help students who can't afford a quality instrument in our high school jazz band. Our jazz band is a staple in our community. We perform many events throughout our area. The trumpet will be assigned to a advanced trumpet player in our jazz band and concert band. Many of my students can't afford a step up instrument and this would allow many students over the next couple of years to have a quality instrument that would sound great and play in tune. My school is in a high poverty area. I have many very talented students who and would really appreciate the opportunity to play on a nice instrument.
