I teach an inclusion class, which contains half special education students and half regular education students. My classroom also contains multiple ESL students. In a classroom like this, it requires that I conduct small groups and differentiated instruction in almost all academic areas. This horseshoe table would ensure that I can work with all the students in my small group at the same time.
A horseshoe table will allow me to provide small group learning opportunities and support to my students throughout the day.
I try to differentiate and support my students as much as possible throughout the day with the resources we have, but having flexible seating like this table will allow me to work directly with multiple students at the same time.
