  • Ties That Bind!

    Funded Apr 3, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students and I greatly appreciate this. This project will help my students with their organizational skills. Your kind thoughts and efforts are not unnoticed. I teach my students to be thankful for everything that someone does for them when they don't have to do it.”

    With gratitude,

  • Table Talk

    Funded May 17, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations. Your kind efforts and thoughts have made a huge difference in my class. My students are able to be pulled into small groups and recieve instruction catered to them.

Upon recieving this table, my students laughed when they saw how small it was. I told them we can make it work. It is a cute little table and it does make you laugh when you see some of the bigger kids sitting at the table.

My next steps would be to order a slightly bigger table so my students are just a tad bit more comfortable working.

Again, we thank you for your generous donations and thoughtfulness towards making this project possible for my students and I.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hines

  • Can you HEAR me now?!

    Funded Apr 7, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations to fund my project. Ensuring that all my students have working headphones has made a tremendous impact on their progress. Students are able to hear what is being read to them through our technology. Increasing the use of technology in our instruction has been beneficial for our students. However, this has been possible through donors such as yourself by helping to make sure each of my students had an adequate supply of headphones. I can't say thank you enough for making this possible. My students would also like to express their humble gratitude for your generous donations.”

    With gratitude,

  • Let's Restart!

    Funded Jun 17, 2021

Thank you for your generous donations to fund my project. My students absolutely love the story. We are reading the novel together and plan to do a project. The students think it is great that the main character lost his memory because now he gets a second chance to right some wrongs. Everyone remembers him as a mean person and a bully, but he doesn't. He is now showing them a different side. My students and I can't wait to finish the story.

Again, thank you for helping me get books in the hands of my students.”

  • Pivotal Learning

    Funded Oct 18, 2019

Thank you for donating these to our class. We use these chairs at our guided reading table. There are 6 of them, 5 for the students and 1 for me. The students are constantly asking can they sit at the guided reading table to work even when it is not guided reading time. One of my favorite moments was during parent/teacher conference. The student came in and said mom, wait until you sit on the ball. When her mom sat down she immediately said, I need this in my office.

My students and I are enjoying our ergonomic chairs. When we received them, I put them together, and they were ready to try them out. The best phrase was, these feel great! Sitting on them not only helps your back, but allows me to see my students who are able to focus better because they are comfortable and relaxed.

For my students and I, our next step would be to get more chairs. We would like to have enough that the students can sit on them at their desk and not just at the guided reading table. Until then, we are enjoying guided reading!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hines

These chairs will help my student's posture. They will be able to sit on the balls with the chair support in small group instruction while being comfortable. This will assist in their learning because their bottoms will not be getting sore from the hard chairs. My students are known as my babies! Anything I can do to make learning fun for them that is what I try to do. Having these chairs will be one less stress we think about. These chairs are awesome. If I have these at my guided reading table, reading will be so much more fun!
