Flexible seating allows students to get to take an active decision making role in their education. I want my students to be able to work independently and get to choose what makes them most comfortable. Flexible seating options have been shown to improve productivity as well as concentration, specifically with students who have sensory processing needs. My hope with this project is that I will be able to provide my students with multiple seating options to help them learn and work in ways that make them more comfortable. I have seen in the past that allowing your students to choose their own seating options drastically affects their attitude and learning.

About my class
