A glass fusing kiln will open up an entire new area of creation and exploration they have never seen before. We will begin with some smaller projects such as jewelry before moving up to dishes and bowls. Jewelry is becoming a popular form in the art world, thus introducing them to new career opportunities. Students will be able to create items for themselves, as gifts, or items to sell. Students have sold photography in the past, and it gives them a sense of pride and confidence. All student sold projects go to them, not to the school or art program.
