  • Help Me Develop Empathy

    Funded Feb 19, 2025

Thank you for your generous donations. Our classroom is truly blessed! The kiddos and teachers were so happy when we received all the packages. It was like Christmas in February. Thanks to you our students are able to grow in the areas of language development, writing, math and social emotional skills. Our pretend, "Vet Clinic," has motivated many to become doctors and vetinarians when they grow up. They have learned about empathy and how to care for a pet. Thanks to you we were able to have an adoption ceremony and all the kiddos where able to take a pet home. I know they will always remember this hands on learning experience. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for allowing me this opportunity to give my students this WOW moment.”

  • Preschool Arborists

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Thank you kindly for your generous donations. Thanks to you I was able to provide many hands on learning opportunities with realia. We are currently learning about trees. What animals live in trees, what comes from trees and what grows on trees. Thanks to you I was able to teach the students about the butterfly life cycle and how caterpillars live in trees. Their curiousity and engagement promoted their language and cognitive development. They were always asking questions or making comments and eager to see the butterfly. They absolutely loved the wooden bird houses. Students learned that wood comes from trees and they were able to feel the wood and build and decorate their own birdhouse. Thanks to the fruit, tree, and animal stickers not only did I use them for positive reinforcement but I was able to use them for small group activities. Students learned to sort which fruits grow on trees and which grow on vines. Also, which animals live on trees and those who do not. Thank you again for allowing me to provide fun and intentional learning opportunites for my kiddos. I truly appreciate your donations, I am truly blessed! Gracias! Mahalo!”

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind donations. Thanks to you I am able to provide intentional and meaningful learning opportunities to my students. I am providing those WOW moments. Thank you for the shoe decals, they help our classroom with behavior management, because the students know where to line up independently. Thank you for the ladybug land hatching kit and the ladybugs. WOW, those where amazing. All my students where engaged and curious about the lifecycle. Thanks to the lifecycle figures you donated, I was able to show them in real life and support them with the lifecylce figures so they could see the features.

Thank you for the Lego baseplate, it encouraged the kidddos to create larger buildings, restaurants, shopping stores, dinosaurs and more. They absolutely love the magnetic building roads and magnetic action figures. Their imagination is going above and beyond. The Pete the Cat board game is so cute! The kiddos are learning to wait their turn patiently while learning the shapes and colors. Thank you for providing so many learning opportunites in many areas like Language and Cognitive development, Social Emotional, Science, Math, and Engineering.”

  • Life Science in Preschool

    Funded Apr 19, 2024

Thank you so much for your kind donations. Thanks to you our students' language developed. It inspired their curiosity to see a plant on top of a fish tank. They were curious about the fish lamp too and they would call their friends over to see and have conversations with each other. The cute sea creature stickers provided many opportunities to strengthen their fine motor skills and helped us teachers with positive reinforcement because they wanted to earn a special sticker. I am so very grateful and I can't wait to see our new kiddos in August explore and wonder with all the cool things we have in our science and calming area. Thank you again! Have a beautiful and memorable summer!”

  • First School Experience

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

Thank you so much for your kind donations to our classroom project. Thanks to you I was able to make literacy activites more engaging for my kiddos. With the stickers you donated I was able to do many different literacy activities. Students made a letter tree and that helped me a lot to assess their letter knowledge of letter identification and sounds while they worked. Students also developed language utteraces because this activitiy initiated many conversations. It also strengthen their fine motor skills as they peeled each sticker.

The ziplock bags you donated not only helped me to organize our interactive classroom books, but also to create Fall sensory bags. The students had so much fun making them, they wanted to do it again and again. This activity also accommodated our kiddos who refuse to do art because they don't like to get dirty or our kiddos with Autism who have challenges with sensory and/or tactile dysfunction.

The laminating sheets and dot velcros you donated helped me create several interactive letter and math activities. One of the students' favorite was counting turkey feathers and finding the number to match. This activity helped them with counting, one -to-one correspondence, and number identification. Thank you again for all your support. Our next project is STEAM, I would like to provide my kiddos with Science opportunities that include art, math, technology, and engineering. Our next study is, "Building.: I know with my next project I will be able to do it. I can not wait!”

My students with special needs learn through their various sensory needs. I have a classroom that currently has a science center which lacks purposeful engaging materials. I am asking for a light up sensory science table for my students to use for math and science activities. With this science table, they can observe shapes, color mixing and build 3D models. My program currently using the Creative Curriculum, which requires that students collaborate with their peers as they explore, observe and create theme related projects. Please consider providing us with the materials that would make a great difference in my student’s education during their first school experience.
