This year I want to give my students something new and exciting to look forward to. I have created four different complete classroom transformation themes. I teach third grade and have the following lesson plan ideas for each transformation theme. - Hospital/Surgical theme for teaching my students how to disect different parts of a text in order to truly comprehend. - FBI/Secret Agent theme for teaching context clues and text structure. - Construction theme for introducing are and perimeter. - Pizzeria theme to help understand fractions. Third grade is a tough year. It's the first year of state testing and these kids begin to feel a lot of pressure. I want to make this school year a year to remember!
