As a teacher, I am always trying to find new and exciting ways to engage and help my students to connect to, understand and learn so many things. The Letters Alive and Math Alive Journals will bring reading and math to life by captivating, engaging and connecting with all my students. Using technology is another tool to help students access and connect with the curriculum. Students will not only get to learn about the number ten, but will be able to show their learning by feeding one of the animals using that number. They can learn number formation and get to practice and be able to apply and show what they know and have learned in their notebooks and in the app connected to the notebook. I have done a lot of research and watched the journals used in other classrooms. It was incredible how much excitement and how engaged students were and how much they connected to the curriculum. The journals helped to cement a strong, academic foundation and a love for learning. Thank you for your help in bringing our classroom to life!
