Life Essentials for My Amazing Fifth Graders!

Thank you so much for your amazing donation! We have received so many items that are truly going a long way. Last school year we had a very early lunch schedule, and this year lunch is about two hours later than the students were used to. The many snacks and drinks provided in this donation help the students to not be distracted by hunger as they work through the longer fifth grade morning. Each day they are excited to see which snack they will get, and who will be chosen to pass out the snacks. We also received cleaning supplies which come in handy before and after our daily snack session. Another thing we received was lip balm, which is always much needed during the coming winter months. The students are each deciding which "flavor" lip balm they want.

There are so many items in this donation, and we can't thank you enough. The students were quite overwhelmed when they returned from lunch one afternoon to a classroom full of brown boxes. To their surprise, they opened box after box of essential items, and squealed with glee. Some even laughed as multiple boxed contained water bottles. "Again?" they chimed in delight. It was such a pleasure to see how excited they were.

Our students are Amazing Learners, in spite of many obstacles, and these life essentials help make each school day much easier for them. They even look forward to learning converting decimals to fractions knowing that they will be snacking while working.”
