Life is hard enough as a middle schooler; between trying to figure out who you are and who you want to be, avoiding as much drama as possible or getting right in the middle of it because that's what makes sense. Bottom line is, middle school is uncomfortable enough without having to sit in an unyielding desk and chair for an hour listening to lessons you hardly care about. Flexible seating offers a small comfort in a drastically confusing and uncomfortable time. I am asking for these two high-top style tables to add another option to my flexible seating friendly classroom as a tactic to engage antsy middle school students. As a professional, I do not expect my students to do anything that I myself cannot do. Personally, I cannot sit it a desk and chair and stay focused on whatever task I am working on. I offer flexible seating in my classroom in order to give every student the best possible access to education through his/her seating preferences.
