Kindergarten is a time for growth and discovery! We start with learning how to handle books then move from learning letters to writing and reading on our own. In order to do this, we need quality literature examples to help inspire us. Writing is a bridge to becoming a good reader. When we use books in conjunction with our lessons, it helps support student learning and development through all areas of curriculum. When students are a good reader, then they are a good writer and vice versa. These books will be used with our Write Now Right Now curriculum to meet the needs of our students for years to come. From classics by Eric Carle to newer publications, our students will discover different ways authors and illustrators tell a story. They can then use that knowledge to help them express their own thoughts and ideas in their own writing.
