Making learning fun motivates students and helps them pay attention and stay focused on the subject! One reason to promote educational games is to encourage students to learn outside of class. Through the use of some of the included materials, my students will be able to explore all aspects of STEM in a hands-on way that allows them to stay engaged and make meaningful connections to their world. Math board games integrate deeper mathematical thinking into the gameplay. These games help students develop skills such as multi-step problem-solving, spatial reasoning, pattern recognition, resource management and much more. With hands on manipulatives students can make abstract concepts concrete and assist them in problem solving.
