Reading Through the Arts: "At-Home or In-School"
Funded Apr 13, 2021This is a great start to our Thanksgiving Holiday! On behalf of our students, my heartfelt thanks to you because we deeply appreciate the time you take in funding our classroom and many others around the country. Your companies will now make our learning immediate and meaningful. The various art supplies, such as: books, paints, bins, paint cups, and the floor mats were essential components to spark a love of learning. My students will use further donations to continue project-based activities in a creative learning environment. Recently, our second grade students completed their engineering lessons on Native Americans. They were challenged to read and write about communities. They created villages from the past and discussed ideas of "infrastructure" during our extended classroom S.T.E.A.M lessons. We are thankful for all the materials that have ignited their imagination. We still believe that textbooks in reading, writing, mathematics combined with technology give us the necessary tools to improvise which keep us all inspired.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Clement

Funded Oct 16, 2019This is a great start to our Thanksgiving Holiday! On behalf of my students, I THANK YOU! We are truly thankful for donors like you. Your donations will make our learning immediate and meaningful.
The Chromebook laptop is an essential component to spark a love of learning in the classroom. Many of our students have warmed up to this new device. It is easy enough to carry around. My third graders are also learning to take notes on the touch- and pen-enabled panel.
My students will use the new laptop among other donations to access educational materials to work on thematic units in a creative environment! They have already begun their project-based learning through S.T.E.A.M - The Art of Science!
These young innovators will benefit from materials that will ignite their imagination. I have included some photographs to share their genuine excitement this school year.
Again, thank you for your support. It is invaluable to classroom teachers and students nationwide.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Clement
