All of my students want to be fully included in their learning environment. The Cricut Maker will allow me to create pictures, graphs, charts, and models that they can feel and manipulate, making STEM experiences more meaningful and building critical conceptual understanding. Adding textures to pictures in classroom books with braille overlays helps to bring literacy to life. The Cricut Maker allows me to provide accessible art experiences that nurture my students' creativity and reminds them that they can be artists too. Having the tools to modify classroom games allows my students to build social skills while playing with their peers. Rich tactile experiences provide my blind and visually impaired students opportunities to learn and explore through their sense of touch in a meaningful way.
