8 years ago, I put on the first play that my high school had performed in over 20 years. I had 5 kids in my Drama Club. This past year, we had over 85 students participate in our largest production to date and convinced the school to let us have the first Drama class in nearly 30 years. We need basic supplies to get our new drama program up and running. My students are ready to learn and ready to build! We have been creating sets from scraps and donations. Our class has no budget and the students can only fundraise so much. Every item we use, every play rights and script comes from fundraising and ticket sales. We need a basic workshop in which students can learn how to use tools and build the amazing sets that they have been dreaming of creating.
