Turn Up the Volume!

I would like to thank you for your kind donations. You have made a great impact on the education of my current students and the students that will sit in their seat in the future. Your donations were used to purchase high quality headphones that allow my students to work on their Chromebooks without worrying about the volume of their computer. My students use technology in every subject, especially in during our english language arts block. Students are using headphones to listen to text and to work on lesson on an individualized track. My students are working on these lessons with a new confidence and a desire to complete them.

The new headphones are exciting to the students because it was a supply that many students lacked. As a teacher, I do my best to provide the items that my students need. However, without your help, I would not be able to supply my students with headphones of this quality. The class also loves that they are the only homeroom with matching headphones. This excitement has added to our classroom community and brought a new excitement for learning.

Since we received the headphones, one of my students has passed more lessons on his individualized lesson path than he did in the entire first quarter. The fact that he now has the ability to listen to his lesson with the headphones has already impacted his overall learning.
