These materials will allow my students to explore and learn in a fun and creative environment that best suits their individual needs. Since I am a special education teacher I am aware that each student has their own way of learning and these tools will allow each child to thrive and reach their academic and social goals. These tools will help engage each child. Working with sorting, puzzles, tweezers etc help my students build up their fine motor skills and be able to do some work independently. Each student will rotate daily throughout my classroom and need the proper educational toys at the individual desk work station to successfully complete the task. I have added items to my wishlist that could be used by all students and modified for those that may need a bit more assistance. I also added the set of soft seats because some children prefer to not sit in a regular seat, but be more comfortable and lower to the ground. These materials are stimulating, but not overpowering taking into account each child’s unique challenges to learning. I want my classroom to be a place where children of all abilities have the chance to learn and enjoy being at school.
