Funded Oct 18, 2022Through your generosity my students have learned so much. As I write this, I think of the joy and cheers that my students show every time I print out either a photograph of themselves, their classmates and/or other learning activities. Their eyes light up every time we make a new classbook with colored photographs. "That's me, that's me!" they exclaim as they read the books in the library.
My students love to see their learning be captured and displayed. Have you ever heard of the saying a picture is worth a thousand words? Well, these colored printed photographs have helped expand my students oral language skills, as they explain detail by detail of their work.
This color printer has provided my students with various learning opportunities. For example, my students are able to have autonomy charts, anchor charts learning, games, and learning center activities printed out in color. These activities have helped my students develop a love for learning. The color activities help keep my students engaged and excited about learning.
We will continue to use the color printer throughout the rest of the school year. We are so thankful to have received the opportunity to explore and learn using colorful learning materials.”

Help Future Scientists See the Light
Funded Mar 29, 2022My Pre-K students raced everyday to their centers to explore the new materials you helped provide our classroom. They loved putting together the solar system puzzles everyday and identifying the planets in our puzzle area. I remember seeing their little faces glowing as they felt like real astronauts when they put on their astronaut costume in the dramatic play area. And I will never forget how thrilled they were to explore shadows with our mini flash lights and how excited they were to play our matching memory game.
These hands-on materials, that your kindness brought to our classroom, helped my students internalize the new information learned in this unit with ease. My students joyfully experienced many learning opportunities with these fun materials and I know without a doubt, that they will continue to love science. Thank you for making this possible. We are so grateful for your help.”

Illuminate Our Pre-K Class's Study of Light!
Funded Jun 10, 2019Through your generosity my students have learned so much. As I write this, I think of the joy and cheers that my students show every time I switch on the light table. "Hooray, it's on!" they exclaim and quickly bring out the light table manipulatives. My students love to work with the light table.
The light table has greatly impacted my students learning. The light table has provided my students with various learning opportunities. For example, students use it to match numerals with their values, spell words and work with letters, use shapes to make different creations, practice counting, sort colors, blending colors, forming letters, and so much more. These activities have helped my students develop a love for learning.
We will continue to use the light table throughout the rest of our units of study. Looking ahead we will soon be using different manipulatives on the light table to learn about homes and transportation.
We are so thankful to have received the opportunity to explore and learn using the light table.”
