I am a first-year teacher who is eager to give my students the best school year ever! I will be teaching reading in 6th grade and am in need of many supplies to equip my classroom. I will be located in a portable this school year which has limited storage and surface space. At the current moment, my classroom doesn't have any bookshelves or storage areas to keep books for the children. I have requested shelving units and containers so that I can create a classroom library to organize and store books. I want to give my students a space in which to explore and learn through the pages of a great book. I hope to make this classroom library very aesthetically inviting so that the students get excited each time they are given the opportunity to check out a new book!
