Our students will love the story of William Kamkwamba, the boy who saved his village by engineering a windmill! In this unit students will learn about wind power and how electricity and electrical circuits work. They would benefit greatly from dynamo lanterns and Snap Circuits which would give them a hands-on experience and a better understanding of how circuits work. This unit is an amazing story about a boy that made a difference to so many and in depth look at how energy works and can be brought to others in need.
