Flexible seating provides seating choices for students and helps students become self-aware of what environment they learn best. Having a student centered classroom is important to me and the flexible seating options allow students to feel empowered with choice. While this project is a start, eventually I would like to have more seating combinations than I do students in order for students to all have a flexible seating option. Despite the possibility future teachers for my students may not provide flexible seating options, I believe this option is best for students and will establish a students-centered classroom and not teacher-centered.
