The art supplies I have selected will allow my students to express what they understand about the content they have learned in a variety of ways. The students in my room struggle with reading and writing and traditional paper and pencil assignments do not accurately reflect what they know. I have a student with selective mutism and using art is how he shows us what he understands. I want all students in my room to have the opportunity to shine in their own way. The flexible seating I selected is another way we can give students choice in their learning.
