Calming Area
Funded Apr 3, 2023I am so grateful for the donations that you gave to my classroom. The students will be surprised and so excited with the new materials that have been donated. I will be happy to see the calming area come to life and help students to activate their social emotional skills in this area with the various materials that will be added to this area. I am excited to see this area come to life.”

Funded Feb 17, 2020Thank you so much for the kind donation to my classroom. The class will have access to more books as they love to read. This will be exciting for them to have new books and for them to learn how to take care of the books simply because you were so generous. Thanks again. I am so excited.”

Preschool Cozy Area
Funded Sep 30, 2019My students and I are using the carpet to get cozy on. We get to see happy and engaging pictures that motivate the children when they are having a hard day. The children are also able to connect with each other as they sit on the carpet holding a stuffed animal. The parents sometimes use this area to cuddle their children when they are having a hard transition in the morning. This carpet is also used for children to talk about their feelings with their peers and the staff members. My students often get their family photo, sit down in this area and discuss their feelings. While discussing their feelings, they sometimes use the carpet and the magnet to discuss and determine their feelings at the current time. The items have had a positive impact on my classroom
My students were so happy when they saw the first part of the order arrive. They were pointing at the items and they were anxious to touch the items that were coming to our room. As each item was added to the classroom, they smiled and gathered around to see the new addition. They were so excited that they did not want to share with each other.
Currently, we have added pictures of them to the area, as they do activities with the buddies, so that they can reflect on what they did. Recently, each buddy made a bracelet for their weekly assigned buddy. Some children gathered their parents to look at the pictures of themselves making bracelets for their weekly buddy.
We love the new additions to our classroom environment.”
