Due to the change with COVID-19 learning at home has made a huge shift in learning. It allowed my "title-1 students" to have the chance to learn with hands-on computer experience. I want to make the best of this opportunity to teach something that will enable them learn tangible skills. Last year, I taught my little artist's the Elements of Art with painting and drawing as our focus. This year, I have the pleasure of teaching the Principles of Art and Design. If we have obtain this grant, my students will use painting as a vehicle to incorporate learning web design. Our projects include; building websites, Vlogging, and fundraising online (with our paintings, & T-shirt designs). As visual artists they can learn new online techniques, apply the art on the web, with innovative technology. The interactive lessons also help the children with: Teamwork, problem solving, good work ethic, and interpersonal skills.
