Mastering Math Facts, As a Matter of Fact!
Funded Jun 30, 2021My students have been working very hard to master their multiplication facts! We have used the tools you have helped to get into our classroom to reinforce skills that we have used to learn multi-digit multiplication, Division and we are getting ready to use those multiplication skills to learn about fractions!
We have been using the folder games during centers - the kids get so excited to go to the games center! They are having so much fun playing while reinforcing their math facts!!
The bright colors and wide variety of skills and types of games makes centers time more fun than ever!
Thank you for all of your help to add this touch of fun to our classroom!”

STEM Tools for Young Minds
Funded May 9, 2021I wanted to send out a sincere thank you for your help reaching our classroom goal for this project. My students have been enjoying using the miniature bricks, building blocks, and wooden building logs to engineer designs in our classroom.
We have various centers in our classroom for students to go to each day to work on their math fluency, stem skills and various hands-on activities.
The students light up and get so excited when they see that one of the centers involves using these building materials.
When I first pulled them out, they were so excited to see that they would actually get to build with their own hands! Being from a low income area, many students do not get the opportunity to work with their hands using tools like these.
We very much appreciate your love and support for The young minds in my classroom!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Holsopple
This classroom project was brought to life by SONIC Drive-In and 4 other donors.Seating for One and All
Funded Jan 30, 2021Thank you for all of your support with this project! My students have loved using the bean bag chairs during independent work time! I wish you could have seen their faces light up when they saw me open the giant boxes with bean bag chairs inside! They were so excited to use them!
Not all students can focus when sitting in a desk. Some students would rather stand up, others lay on the carpet with a clipboard and some prefer sitting lower to the ground in a more comfortable position. Flexible seating allows my students to work in the way that best fits their growing minds and bodies!
My newest classroom project is geared toward harnessing and promoting my students love of learning with math fact games! Students need their basic math facts in order to grow their minds and build on that foundation. So, I've created a project to give my students more hands on and interactive tools to accomplish that!
Thank you again for your support!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Holsopple
