  • Fantastic 5th Graders Take Note!

    Thank you so much for your support in supplying my students with dry-erase clipboards, markers and erasers! We have been using these almost every single day, especially in math!

    When given these boards on the first day of school, they were so excited to use something specifically for them! No more used, scribbled on clipboards boards to borrow. Now they not only have brand-new clipboards, but it doubling as a dry erase board has been a space saver!

    We use these boards throughout the day, from needing a clipboard to do record our thinking during scavenger hunts and gallery walks around the room, to a multi-use math tool.

  • Flexible in 5th! Meet Us at the Table!

    I would like to thank you so much for contributing to this project! We absolutely LOVE our new table! It has been one of the most popular choices in our flexible seating classroom! When the kids saw this little nook, they were so excited to use it!

    We use this area for a variety of activities. It's a great spot for one-to-one teacher conferences, partner/triad work and a cozy computer spot! It seems to have made the kids feel more comfortable working and interacting with each other. They have been so respectful of this area as well, maintaining it and keeping it clean. This area faces the window which is great for wanting to take a mindful moment and look outside.

    As we continue our fantastic fifth grade year, I am looking forward to using this area in all aspects of our learning and growing, from a gallery walk station to a comfy conferencing area. This area has definitely influenced the overall classroom environment in such a positive and peaceful way, and it's all thanks to your support! I greatly appreciate your generosity!”

Flexible seating needs change with the activity they are working on, who they are working with and their personal learning needs that day.
