By utilizing technology such as the iPad, apple pencil, and apple tv, the students will be able to learn through guided lessons projected to their computer in a virtual setting or on to the board when in hybrid or full in-person models. These technologies will allow me to demonstrate handwritten notations in our math lessons and provide real-time examples of how to solve mathematical equations in a multitude of ways. The handwritten experience will make the learning feel real and help them apply their skills.
This technology will allow me to be an effective teacher in a virtual environment, but also correlate into in-person models. It will provide me the flexibility to teach from anywhere in the classroom as we transition back to hybrid and in-person learning in the coming months. The iPad and pencil will allow me to work one on one with a student, while also demonstrating the problem for the entire class and even learners at home.
The stream deck will allow me to efficiently organize all learning materials for myself and provide ways to make the virtual experience more content-rich and engaging. I will also be able to launch programs, apps, and specific websites at the click of the button to ensure my student's energy, attention, and engagement is locked in the entire lesson. This tool will be beneficial in both virtual and in-person settings.
