  • Calming Our Minds to Improve Our Days

    Thank you again for the donation of a calming corner for my students this year. I had two students who used this area several times this year. They are autistic and this area really helped them when they were feeling overwhelmed. I had two students this year that also struggle with controlling their emotions and can have outbursts. They also used this area when they needed to calm their emotions. It worked great and they both did amazing this year.

    Your generosity means the world to myself and my students now and in the future. I will be moving classrooms and have already picked out an area for my students to take the time to calm down and improve their learning day.”

  • New Laptop Need for in-Person and Virtual Learning

    The learning in schools has changed over the last few years. The use of technolgy in the classroom has increased. Being able to keep up with the ever changing world we live in the Dell laptop has helped me in multiple ways in and out of the classroom. I am able to update grades, commuicate with students and their families when I have to be out of the classroom, increase the ways my students learn standards, and increase my knowledge on the use of technology.

  • Supplies for My 1st Classroom

    Thank you for the supplies. They have came in very handy during the unprecedented times we have been through over the past year.

    I have been able to provide my students with many items that have keep them safe.

    We have been able to give each student in my home room their own supplies to take home to have during virtual learning.

    I have also been able to use items to help when creating videos for virtual learning.

    Students needs us now more than ever. Their world has been turned upside down. The normal they knew is gone. Through your caring and giving hearts I can try to bring back of normal to my students world.

I want my students to understand that we are all different because if we were all the same what a boring world we would live in. These book will be used to expand my students' knowledge on character development, figurative language, and themes. I will be using these books as read alouds and in literature groups (based on reading level).
