In one lesson, students are given 1 minute to modify their cube. Then they will stop and use an Expo marker to write on their desk a bar graph that goes with one side of their cube. They will flip their cube over to a new side and take a stroll! They will go to another student's desk and find the corresponding side to their math! They will talk with a friend to check and do it again! This differentiation allows students the opportunity to an endless supply of math problems created by them and checked by friends which teaches them too. Students are given a very concrete manipulative to learn how to make graphs which is on their TNReady test at the end of the year. Students will use markers to make a poster! Rubix Cubes, plus markers equal endless math!
