  • If You Give a Student an iPad

    My students and I would like to thank you for your generosity, thoughtfulness, and donation of the iPads and headphones. Thank you so much for thinking of my students' future and making the contribution of technology in our STEM Lab.

    Students were extremely excited about using the iPads. We used the iPads to fly drones, which is the introduction to our aviation unit. In addition, my students were greatly appreciative of the headphones, which are used with our Chromebooks. My students are familiar with technology, but using the iPads catapulted them to the next level and made a major impact. We are planning to conduct aviation competitions using the iPads, where students will act as the pilot and will have a flight plan to follow.

  • Future Engineers at Work!

    My scholars were genuinely excited about designing intricate bridges using the Knex kits donated by thoughtful, concerned donors, like yourselves. Because of these resources, students eagerly engaged in the bridge building project, have expressed interest in possibly becoming civil engineers, and exhibited their projects at our school's STEM Night. The next steps for my students is to build skyscrapers and towers, to explore architectural and structural engineering. Thank you again for your contribution.”
