Puppets: Fun for Pretend Play!
Funded Jul 31, 2019I would like to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart! My students really enjoy using puppets to express their feelings. They also love giving the puppets hugs. We introduce a puppet a week based on the letter that we choose. They love that the puppet loves that letter and they are eager to find the letter in the classroom because the puppet gets very excited and wants to give them the biggest hug in the world. They love and enjoy all the attention that the puppets give them. I will encourage the student to use the puppets during dramatic play in the theme coming up with tales. I know that they will enjoy using the puppets to express themselves and also to have fun. I know that as we introduce more and more puppet friends to our library and classroom the children will begin to use more of their vocabulary and express themselves through the puppets. I can't wait for them to start retelling storing and even making their own. I have such great ideas for their future. It would not have been possible with out you! Thank you, a million times! We greatly appreciate your generosity!”
With gratitude,

Funded Jun 9, 2019First and for most I would like to express my gratitude of your generous donation by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart. My project "Little hands, Great Minds, Hands on Learning has been fully funded because of you! My students were introduced to these manipulative on the first day of school. They were very excited to be able to work with building blocks such as the star connectors, waffle blocks, connecting cubes, and the magnetic shapes. I used these manipulative as table games in the beginning of the year so that we can teach the kids how to properly use these items to learn, it also helped us to teach them how to be responsible and clean up when they are finished. We did this to give them a sense of routine and procedure. We enjoyed seeing them using theses manipulative enthusiastically as we know that children at such a young age learn the most through play. We will continue working with these items through put the year as they are very useful to have during STEM in science and in math. Thank You again for the kind gesture!”
