This being my first year of teaching, I am lacking the many supplies necessary to carry out all of the lesson plans I have always envisioned. From bookshelves to markers to tissues, I am faced with a bare, naked classroom. I want to give my students the best language arts lessons possible, but I am limited on what I can do without these essential supplies. While trying to build a classroom library, I need shelves to keep my books. While encouraging students to complete their work, I need a unit for them to organize and submit assignments. The materials will be the key to helping young minds succeed.
