In third grade, students are learning how to read for pleasure. I find it very important for students to have access to reading books in the classroom to ensure that they are able to read even though they may not have access to books at home or be able to go to a local library. A lot of these books will go towards that. Also, we put on a third grade wax museum. The biographies will help students in their research process. Not all students have access to technology at home, so they rely on being able to do most of the research here at school.
