  • Super Sanitize

    Funded Dec 29, 2023

Thank you very much for your kindness in giving to our classroom project. My students are very grateful to come into a clean and sanitized space. We have a great time learning and using lots of different materials that can sometimes leave a spill or stain behind. We have also managed to fight off some pesky germs and have kept our classroom free from the common colds and flu during high peak seasons.

My students look forward to coming in at recess and lunch to give a helping hand and clean up our space. This classroom space is nourished with a lot of love, laughter and learning.”

  • Wobbling Our Way Into Learning!

    Funded Jun 10, 2019

My students love these stools when we are working together in a small group. I'm amazed at how stable they are.....kids can lean all the way forward with no danger of tipping over! I've also noticed that it helps with posture and it definitely helps my kids keep moving and focused on the task at hand.

My student attention and impulsivity has decrese tremendously thanks to these amazing stools! They use it during small group, during independent writting, some even ask to use them while sitting whole group listening to instruction. My students sometimes have a hard time concentrating, these chairs give them the opportunity to move around and fidget if they need to, but also attention is on the lesson because they have that freedom to move without walking around the classroom.

When we first opened the boxes the OOOOHHHHHSSSS and AHHHHHSS could be heard from a mile away. Their curisosity to what they were was the sweetest. We let them test run the seats and come up with rules on how to use this form of flexible seating. My students take great care of the chairs. Some even clean them if they feel are getting to dirty.

So much more learning is definitely going on in my classroom this year and it's all thanks to you! These stools have been a game changer. It's definitely targeting a much need accomodation for my students!”

  • Makin Math Magnetically Fun!

    Funded Jun 13, 2019

My students use all the magnetic math materials on a daily basis. They are essential during my lesson plan. These maipulatives work great for my non-verbal students because the can show me what they know through the manipulatives. My kindergarteners are learning to put numbers in order from 1-20. My first graders are using the ten frames to show additon of 10+____ another number. They also use the magnetic numbers to fill in their number bonds. For my students that shy away from filling in a worksheet, they use the magnetic white board to write their math findings!

My students were sooo excited when we opened the boxes. The smiles on their faces alone spok a thousand words. They ask all the time if we can work on math because they love to use the manipulatives.

Our next steps are to continue using the materials daily. I am allowing my students to answer test questions by using the manipulatives and students scores are increasing. This gave my students a new perspective in math and thye love it! Its so heart warming to hear my students go from "I hate math I can't do this" to "Ms. Sada Math is my favorite, can we work on more math problems" Giving my special education students more opprtunities for learning! Making math FUN!!”

My students have a lot of movement needs. In order to keep them focused, they take constant breaks and walk around the room. Having these chairs in my classroom will help my students keep moving while being engaged during the lesson and will successfully complete a rotation with minimal distractions. These chairs would be placed at the independent table where there is always maximum distractions without an adult supervising the group. These chairs are light enough for my littles to handle and have a place to put their feet on. These amazing wobble chairs will provide stability and flexibility in my classroom.
