This colorful rug will make out classroom warm and cozy. The students will have a comfortable place to learn outside of their desk. They will have space to spread out and create a place to learn within their comfort zone. My students can sit in a square and listen while I read them a spooky story for Halloween. They can work with a partner in math on the rug to practice addition and subtraction. They can sit with a clip board and complete work spread out. They can practice some yoga moves and mindfulness to clear their minds and take a quick break! They can stand and act out scenes from a book! I can imagine it now, and it's going to be great.
