Take a Seat! It's Time to Love Math!

Thank you again for your generous donations. The students have LOVED having the flexible seating! The boxes arrived in the middle of the day and the students were so excited when I told them those boxes were for them, all thanks to kind people who took the time to donate.

The students are able to use the flexible seating every day in centers! The wobble chairs are used at my teacher table, the medicine balls are used at my computer station, and the bean bag chairs are used up by my smart board to create the "gaming" area (what 12 year old wouldn't love that?).

More specifically I have seen the flexible seating help many kids already. My 3rd period class is huge with 26 students, 11 of which have a individualized educational plans. Many of those students struggle with focusing and staying seated. With the flexible seating, especially the wobbly stools and medicine balls, those students are able to channel their energy into movements while still being engaged in my lessons, and for that I am beyond grateful!”
