  • School Can Be Hard! Stress Toys Make it Easier

    Thank you so much for your generous donations! Although schools are still currently closed, I am hopeful that we will be up and running in the fall. I know my students will benefit greatly from all of these items included in my project.

  • Stress Toys Make All the Difference!

    Thank you so much for your donation to my project!

    The stress toys, fidgets, and sit-n-move cushions were put into use immediately on the very first day of their delivery. Since then, I've been loaning these items out and constantly to students and also just encouraging students to use them in my office as they work through problems. The items are loaned out to those who need them most, and it has been making a noticeable positive impact.

    Several teachers have been given a few items as a starting point to create a "cool down" area within their own classrooms. Other teachers have seen the awesome stress toys/fidgets from my collection and decided to purchase their own! Having a large variety of items is very helpful, since a simple stress ball doesn't seem to help most students.

They keep them until they don't need them, or they break. The problem is, these tools are so well-used and well-loved, they start to fall apart not long after they've been put into service. (This is especially true for the "squishy" toys.) I've gone through more tools than I can remember, but I know they made a difference for the students who used them. Thanks for your help!
