In Kindergarten, students often feel overwhelmed due to the fact that this will be their first year in school for about eight hours. This is their first year experiencing school and they miss their home. With the requested Wobble Chairs, Wobble Cushions, Big Beanbag Seats, Comfy Floor Seats, and Giant Comfy Pillows I hope to erase that mentality from my students and create a comfortable and relaxing classroom. I want to be able to introduce flexible seating in my classroom to give my children the choice of, and control of, the type of environment they seek and give them a comfortable space to learn. My students will use this different furniture on a day-to-day basis on every activity they do in school. For example, they'll use the chairs while they read, during centers, and while working independently.
