My students run a gamut of learning levels - I have students who are struggling with biology concepts at a basic level, and students who are knees deep in advanced placement biology. All of these students will benefit from having the chance to review their knowledge in a fun and engaging way by playing biology-based board games. Students will have a chance to engage in some friendly competition, showing the struggle for survival and a molecular level and population level. After spending some time learning about the cell, turning it into a competition to survive will help them connect with the topics on a deep and engaging level.
