Funded Feb 4, 2022Pretend play in early childhood is so important to the development of the brain. It allows the students to work through real world issues, problem solve, learn new things and have fun.
Imagination and creativity are built upon in our dramatic play center. Using the materials from this Donor's Choose, my students are learning so much through play.
The sandwich shop has been a big hit. I've witnessed the students counting money, using manners, turn taking, collaborating and so much more. Developing these important skills through play will create long lasting memories.
Thank you!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Mckenzie
