Microsoft has put together a wonderful collection of middle school student friendly projects. Students will create projects such as flashlights, robotic hands, electrical circuits, and much more. I have already collected the necessary Arduino microcontrollers. However, the other materials are not reusable and do rack up in cost when being replaced for each class. All help is greatly appreciated in making sure that my kids can access STEM. Examples of how materials will be used to complete Microsoft Hacking STEM projects: -Milkshake straws will be used to create the fingers for the robotic hand. -Copper tape will be used to create electrical circuits and flex sensors. -Alligator clips will connect different circuits. -Glue guns will be used to glue materials together. -Skewers will be used to create a wave machine.
